Previously week, it appeared as if somebody flipped a change to deliver on a change of seasons. We went just about in a single day from weirdly heat temperatures for November to wintry climate – daytime highs within the thirties (Fahrenheit), in a single day lows about twenty, and our first snowfall of the season. All of this introduced the out of doors backyard season to a definitive finish.
Simply in time to maintain me from being flower-deprived, nevertheless, flowering houseplants started to bloom. In the lounge plant window, the Thanksgiving cactus (Schlumbergera) has opened its first flower, with many extra to comply with quickly. 
One other cactus, with pink flowers, is about to start blooming in my bed room. (I didn’t discover how dusty this plant was till after I photographed it. It has since been given a much-needed bathe.)
